Habanos S.A., the Cuban-state run cigar conglomerate, announced this week they have appointed Beatriz Garrido García as the company’s newest Operational Marketing Director. Beatriz Garrido García began working for Habanos S.A. in 1997 and kept moving herself up the chain over time. She has previously worked as a market intelligence specialist in the strategic marketing division, she then became market supervisor at Tabacalera S.L.U., who is the Habanos distributor in Spain. She also worked at Phoenicia Trading, a distributor in the Middle East and Africa, where she worked as a corporate director.
