Namakubi is perhaps one of the most important lines in the Room 101 historical portfolio. It originally debuted in 2011 and helped launch Room 101 to where it is today. We saw a return after an extended hiatus in 2021 as a limited edition offered in purple 10-count boxes and 10-count caskets of ten coffins. At that time, Matt Booth said it would go on to be an annual release.
This year’s Namakubi release was created by Matt Booth and made at the William Ventura cigar factory in Tamboril, Dominican Republic. It’s crafted with a San Andrés Maduro wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and a proprietary filler from Nicaragua, with Pennsylvania broadleaf. It is a 6 1/2 x 50 perfecto and has a retail price of $24.99 and will come in 10-count boxes.
