In the Saka Standard, today Steve took to social media to announce the new Sobremesa Solita Red cigar. Steve said that they will begin taking orders in two weeks time and that the cigar is expected to ship in late winter (Late February/Early March).
In his post, Steve did warn that these will be very limited. “There will -not- be enough to fulfill the initial demand, but we will definitely allocate it out fairly to all of our purveyors who pre-commit regardless of their size.” Saka said.
He added, “When I ceased making the Cervantes Fino which is one of my personal favs of the original liga and was still selling, I told everyone there was a reason for my madness. I was working on this bolder and richer version and it would soon be on the horizon – still distinctly Sobremesa, but with just that extra bit of pizazz that takes it from being a great cigar to an exceptional one.”
Other details were not revealed but I expect to see that closer to launch time, most likely after the holidays.
