Les Fines Lames, the French company behind the Le Petit knife style cutters and the punch cutter bead bracelets has added another cutting accessory to its “wearable” collection. Today, the company announced the new Le Tag – T135, a dog tag style double guillotine cutter necklace that we saw prototypes of at PCA 2023.

In a press release, the company stated, “Le Tag is an ultra-thin guillotine cutter that redefines the Every-Day Carry for aficionados. Inspired by the iconic army dog tag, Le Tag is a bold statement piece and a conversation starter, making it a perfect way to identify yourself as a cigar smoker.”

The cutter is made using surgical grade stainless steel and is made in the city of Theirs, France where it is also known as the cutlery capital of France, when it was made so by decree of the King over 600 years ago. While it wasn’t listed specifically, I am going to assume that this will use the same 14C28N stainless steel (culinary grade) that the company says it uses on the Le Petit cutters.

It will be available in multiple finishes and color combinations and will come with the signature dog tag ball chain necklace, although this could probably be swapped for any kind of necklace the wearer chooses later. The company said it plans to release this cutter on November 16th on their website.
