Tatuaje Opens Florida Warehouse in Doral

May 14, 2024 By Matthew Tabacco

Tatuaje has opened a new Florida Distribution Center to fulfill orders faster and optimize shipping costs and times for their retailers.

The new warehouse, in Doral, will supplement the Los Angeles warehouse and distribution will occur from both locations.  The goal will be to ship the east part of the country from Miami and the west half of the retailers from Los Angeles.

Since the Tatuaje family of products arriving from Nicaragua are all received through Miami and the Miami Made production is rolled there, it made sense as the company grew, to find a way to have product shipping from there as well as from Los Angeles.

For the last couple of years, when a Limited Release would show up in Miami, some product was held back in FL and shipped from there after the rest of the release arrived in Los Angeles and started shipping.  That set in motion the ability to manage some of the Limited runs in this manner and have the product dropping at retailers around the country within just a few days from being shipped.  But the goal was to find a location to warehouse the entire Tatuaje family of products so that all orders could be fulfilled in the best manner.

It will take a little time to get stock of every SKU at each location, but the process has now started.

“We are really excited about this next chapter of Tatuaje.  Getting the product to the retailers quicker and saving them money on shipping and handling is something we have been talking about for years.  We are happy that it finally came to fruition”.  says Pete Johnson, owner of Tatuaje Cigars.
