La Flor Dominicana announced earlier this year that they would be releasing an NFT (Non-Fungible Token). However, unlike most NFTs, this one would come with the right to buy seventy Andalusian Bulls a month indefinitely in new size dubbed the “Golden NFT” – a 6 1/4 x 42 Lonsdale and do with it as they please. The NFT also comes with the signature artwork that an NFT is known for PLUS a gold bar styled humidor called “The Gold Bullion” humidor. These NFTs were open to any bidder worldwide.
In total, the NFTs made over $600,000 in total in what has become a massive success. They were sold via auction on the UREEQA platform. LFD didn’t have a specific customer in mind and six of the seven NFTs went to retailers while one went to a private buyer. Because of this, no MSRP was set in place and therefor the retailers who bought them with the intention to sell them have created their own pricing for these unicorn smokes. They did however disclose that they would only charge $15 per cigar to the owners to purchase the cigars from the company directly.

The NFT owners listed above have all received their first shipment including the NFT itself and the gold bullion humidor. Some of the retailers have already listed prices of $200 per cigar. The owners of each NFT have the option to resell it at any point if they wish which will also transfer ownership of the right to buy the cigars from La Flor Dominicana.
