It is year two at PCA for Ferio Tego – the brand led by Michael Herklots and Brendon Scott. Last year we saw Ferio Tego make its debut just months after announcing their existence. With no cigars to sell or even sample, it became a meet and greet for former customers and colleagues to ask some questions and check in with Mike and Brendon after their departure from the now defunct Nat Sherman Intl. Months later we saw the release of the 2021 Elegancia and Generoso limited editions, followed by the return of Timeless and eventually Metropolitan. By this point Ferio Tego has kept itself busy and has plenty of offerings on the market.
Last year Ferio Tego was one of the most anticipated brands to see at the 2021 PCA trade show. They won our award for 2021 Best New Brand with Michael Herklots winning our 2021 Man of the Year award. Going into their sophomore year, some might wonder “What Now?” and how will Ferio Tego continue to stay fresh and new while also honoring the brands of the past.
“One year ago, we were here with nothing but a box design and a logo and stories and hugs and asking for patience and understanding. That was it. We’re twelve months since that day and we have nine blends and forty-two cigars across our core lines. We successfully released the 2021 Ferio Tego, Elegancia and Generoso, we just started putting out last week the 2022 in Elegancia and Generoso. The TAA was sold out immediately and now here we are showing the Timeless 10 Year.” says Michael Herklots.

Ferio Tego had the 2022 Elegancia and Generoso cigars on display at the front of the booth which have already shipped to retailers back in June. They will use similar components to their 2021 counterparts however Michael compares them to vintage champagnes where the components might be the same, but the recipe can change.

Timeless Ten Years
The Timeless 10 Years is a celebration of the Timeless brand which goes back to its days at Nat Sherman where it was created. The Timeless brand was first launched in 2012 and became one of the most iconic brands at Nat Sherman before becoming the brand to help launch Ferio Tego. Timeless 10 Years ships this month.
