Limited to 500 units, the 19th Century Byron Epique Poemas 30 Count Humidor is scheduled to begin shipping first week of November. Debuting at the 2022 PCA show in Las Vegas, the 19th Century Byron Epique Poemas Humidor ships with 30 cigars inside and a carton of 50 cigars to refill. Aged for Four Years Post-Roll, the Epique Poemas cigars are part of the 19th Century blend by Nelson Alfonso of Selected Tobacco and feature a dark, oily Ecuadorian wrapper.
Each individually numbered, Hazelnut finished humidor stands upright with two magnetically sealed doors that swing open to the sides. The side doors hold five cigars that are angled back, secured with a strip of hazelnut wood, plus the doors feature a hygrometer and thermometer on opposite sides. The center of the humidor will prominently display twenty Epique Poemas along with a top mounted regulator to maintain humidity.
“Lord Byron gave the world poetry and I try to capture his passion with the Byron line,” said Nelson. “I look for an emotional response not only in the packaging designs but more importantly in my cigars.”
With production limited to 500 humidors and 40,000 cigars, this is a release after more than 7 years of design and production work. 200 humidors are scheduled for this year and 300 more are schedule to arrive before the Spring of 2023.
