This cigar marks the beginning of Patina y Viso Horny—a partnership rooted in friendship, curiosity, and a shared love for tobacco.
Mo and Tyler first met by chance at Casa de Puros in Chicago. A brief conversation stuck with Tyler. Years later, he heard Mo on a podcast, remembered that moment, and brought Patina cigars into the humidor he was managing. They resonated. Eventually, they reconnected. Mo came out for an event, and a working relationship turned into a real friendship. When Tyler mentioned wanting to visit Nicaragua, Mo simply said, “Book the flight.” So he did.
In Estelí, they spent time learning from industry leaders like Gustavo Cura and Angel Oliva III—diving deep into blending, fermentation, and the art skill behind the leaf. After several trips, they decided to create something together.
That cigar is Verdigris—a blend shaped by time, trust, and transformation. Named after the Patina that forms on aged copper, it reflects their journey: raw, real, and evolving. Tyler says that this is just Chapter One and that “More is coming”.
