Total Product Expo 2025 – New Cigars

February 2, 2025 By Matthew Tabacco

While there wasn’t a hell of a lot of new products to see at TPE 2025, there were a feel highlights that I found interesting. I think we are going to have to wait a little bit longer for PCA 2025 for the real excitement. But that was to be expected. This list will be updated as some products need to be added later.

Aganorsa Leaf Flex Sampler

Aganorsa Leaf launched this products a few weeks ago as an event only exclusive, but since it was still so new I figured I would include it as part of the TPE coverage as many people probably haven’t seen it yet. Its is a ten count sampler box featuring ten of their primary blends, all in a round parejo toro. The Aganorsa Leaf Flex Sampler is priced at $140 and will only be available at store events. The list of the blends includes:

  • La Validación Connecticut (6 x 52)
  • La Validación Corojo (6 x 52)
  • Signature Corojo (6 x 52)
  • Signature Maduro (6 x 52)
  • Supreme Leaf (6 x 54)
  • Rare Leaf Corojo (6 x 54)
  • Rare Leaf Maduro (6 x 54)
  • Aniversario Connecticut (6 x 52)
  • Aniversario Corojo (6 x 52)
  • Aniversario Maduro (6 x 52)

Aganorsa Leaf Supreme Leaf 2025

In addition to the Aganorsa Leaf Flex Sampler above, Terence showed us the 2025 Supreme Leaf which will be shipping sometime in the next month. This is the tenth size of Supreme Leaf since it launched din March of 2020. This size is what Aganorsa is calling the Royal Perfecto, a 5 1/2 x 52 figurado. It features the same blend and will come in the standard ten count box with only 2,500 boxes being produced. It will have an MSRP of $14 per cigar.

Ferio Tego Metropolitan Petites

Ferio Tego is known to not always have new products by design because they mainly focus on building the reputation of the brand they have. But they do sprinkle in some of the Metropolitan and Timeless products that have been brought back to life. The only thing we had to see here was the new Metropolitan Petites, a trio of small, handmade cigars that deliver the familiar experience of the Metropolitan Selection in a new, compact size. Available in the Metropolitan Connecticut, Maduro, and Host blends, these 4 x 34 come in packs of five for $24.99. They will begin shipping in a few weeks.

Vie Deluxe

Vie Deluxe made their trade show debut and I found them to be interesting. They originally launched last September with just one cigar – an 11″ x 40 lancero extra that comes in a carbon fiber tubo. They come inside a larger round cylinder like box, also made of carbon fiber in a count of ten total. When I asked about the MSRP, company president Eliot Hamerman said that it varies, and that it is currently offered anywhere from $150 – $400 per cigar, with the higher price point more so being offered in other countries such as Dubai.

For TPE, the company added a new ashtray that matches the carbon fiber tubos but also provides a clean aesthetic and wind proaction from blowing ash. It has cigar rests on the top with a grate across the rest of the top to trap the ash inside, which is easily removable for cleaning. You can tell that while this ashtray can work for any cigar, it was designed with the lancero extra in mind, as it is quite large in diameter. It is twelve and a half inches wide and five inches high. The base of the ashtray is made of leather for a soft touch on table tops. The ash tray has an MSRP of $1,000 and Eliot Hamerman told Smokin Tabacco that he had more cigars going on sale this year.

Aging Room La Bohéme

At the Altadis U.S.A. booth, the only new product we saw was the reinvigorated La Bohéme brand. Originally debuting back in 2014, La Bohéme features a new blend and a new blue packaging howler all of the original vitola formats res till offered. It began shipping last week right before TPE started.

The latest in the critically acclaimed Perez-Carrillo collection is the new Endure. It comes packaged and banded with a bright orange design, something that reminds me of Halloween. Originally released in 2004, the line has been in and out but now it is available in four sizes full time. It was also La Aurora’s first Dominican puro cigar. For 2025, two manufacturers have been announced so far. One is J.C. Newman with the El Baton blend which was not at TPE. The other was at TPE and it is the Micallef Black. These will begin shipping in June right before the Fourth of July holiday in which they usually celebrate.

Somm BDX Blanc Packaging

The first place I stopped on the floor was at Somm where I found Matt Booth investigating a 3D printer set up at the booth with owner Vlad Stojanov. Vlad told us that they would be rolling out new 3D printed boxes starting with the BDX Blanc line but with the rest to follow later in the year. The boxes are also versatile for different sizes, there is a spacer in the box than can be moved to create a display for two toro bundles, two robust bundles or a bundle of each. Somm debuted at PCA last year in 2024.
