The Smokin Tabacco Show: The Guayabera Lady – Berta Bravo

August 7, 2022 By Matthew Tabacco

Brought to you by J.C. Newman – On this episode, Matt and Nicole are joined by Berta Bravo a.k.a The Guayabera Lady. Berta talks about how she got her beginnings in the clothing business and what led to the connection to the cigar industry. She attended her first IPCPR in 2008 and everything took off from there. She has become such a symbol in the cigar industry, she still has love for it and remains connected to it even though her store is no longer here.

Berta talks to us about some of the charity work she has done over the years and being the influence behind “Guayabera Fridays” in Miami. Berta talks about having to close her store during the pandemic – but teases a return to the business. She tells us the three most memorable and meaningful designs she made over the years to close out the show.
