The fifth in the series of Redux Monsters, Tatuaje has announced this year will be the year of the Mummy Redux and it will hit stores soon. The Monster series is on elf the most sought after limited editions in the cigar business. Recently, Pete Johnson, owner of Tatuaje, has been re-releasing his monster line ups as Redux’s and providing a fresh take on these popular releases. The Tatuaje Mummy Redux is a 7 1/2 x 47 vitola with a covered foot and features a Nicaragua Criollo wrapper and all Nicaragua binders and filler.

As with all of the Redux Series, these are presented in a coffin style cabinet box of 13 cigars and the retail price remains $13/cigar. 5,000 boxes of 13 were produced at My Father Cigars, Esteli. The company says 4,300 boxes as pictured above and 700 numbered boxes – 666 of them sequentially numbered and the others marked XX which are usually saved for special occassions.
The Tatuaje Mummy Redux release is allocated to select retailers and is expected to ship in early October.
