Tatuaje has announced that the legendary Pork Tenderloin will be appearing once again in its original form with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Pete told us about this during PCA 2025; however, he felt that the spotlight should be on all of his other project that he was releasing at the time and it was not shown. Either way, only real Tatuaje fans will know how coveted these cigars are.
- Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf USA
- Binder: Nicaragua
- Filler: Nicaragua
- Size: 5 1/8 x 52
- MSRP: $13.00 per cigar
- Limited Run: 5,000 bundles of 25 (125,000 cigars)

Pork Tenderloin first appeared in 2010 for a very limited store exclusive, packaged in twenty-five-count paper wrapped bundles made to look like a butcher’s wrap from a meat market with a sticker holding the bundle together made to look like the sales label. Instead of meat type, weight and price, this label features all the info on the cigars. The original runs were unbanded and these appear to feature a basic red and white band that says “pork tenderloin” on them. Pork Tenderloin is crafted at My Father Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua. I can tell you personally, I have smoked one of the originals recently and it held up with all of that age so these hopefully are right on par with those.
When it debuted, it immediately rocketed to be one of the most coveted cigars from the brand. The Pork Tenderloin was produced again in very small numbers for the company’s “Bus Tours” in 2016 and 2017, where the Tatuaje crew traveled around the country visiting retailers for events where a small number of bundles were available at each location. Then, in 2023, a version called “Lome de Cerdo”, featuring a San Andrés wrapper from Mexico was released nationwide as part of Tatuaje’s Tuxla series. Now the original Pork Tenderloin with Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper returns in 2025 for a limited release to select retailers across the country.
