Serafin de Cuba Cigars has announced a new release called the El Capitan. The company plans to roll out this new line of cigars at the upcoming 2025 PCA trade show in New Orleans.
The El Capitan Cigar is made to honor longtime Serafin de Cuba employee and dear friend of Arnold Serafin, owner of Serafin de Cuba, Jose “El Capitan” Gallinat. Arnold says Mr. Gallinat was a Cuban Patriot who was in both the Cuban and US Armies and fought heroically in the Bay of Pigs invasion with Brigade 2506. This cigar was Serafin’s way to show gratitude and respect for a person he cared for and who helped him so much for so many years.
The cigar will be a limited edition production with only 1,000 ten-count boxes being made. The El Capitan will only be offered in one size. The size is what is being appropriately named by Serafin “Cuban Missile” – a 7 x 54. The cigar is blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos wrapped in a Mexican negro San Andrés wrapper. The El Capitan has an MSRP of $15.
