The very first luxury lighter is making a grand comeback. Originally created by S.T. Dupont and beloved by the world’s most iconic figures, Line 1 re-emerges with renewed proportions and timeless elegance. Featuring the Maison’s signature vertical guilloché and deep black lacquer, this new edition pays exceptional tribute to S.T. Dupont’s enduring craftsmanship.
Line 1 was the lighter of choice for Jackie Kennedy – an essential object of style, intimate and timeless. With the rising number of female cigar smokers in the last several years, it would make sense for Dupont to bring back a luxury lighter that may be better suited for them, along side the Line 2. It was also the favorite lighter of famous actresses Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe.
In 2025, Line 1 returns in a slightly larger unisex size measuring 50mm in height and 37mm in width, while remaining the most petite of S.T. Dupont’s luxury lighters. Its perfect proportions are dressed in the iconic Line 1 guilloché, in either gold or palladium finishes, with a fully metallic body or a striking contrast in glossy black lacquer.
The Line 1 is not shipping to retailers and is available in four finishes. MSRP for these lighters ranges from $1,250 – $1,295. Lastly, like its newer counterpart, the Line 2, it also pings.
