Punch Announces Egg Roll XL for Chinese New Year

January 30, 2026 By Matthew Tabacco

Punch Cigars is putting a new twist on an old favorite to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The limited-edition cigar, Egg Roll XL, features the same blend as the original Punch Egg Roll, which was released in 2019. However, as its name implies, Egg Roll XL is a 6 x 60 Gigante and is bigger than the first Egg Roll.

Egg Roll XL features a USA Broadleaf wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and Colombian, Dominican, Mexican, and USA filler tobaccos. Like its predecessor, Egg Roll XL has a shaggy foot. It is a limited-edition cigar. Punch has previously released other limited-edition cigars themed after Chinese-American cuisine, including Chop Suey, King Pow!, and Spring Roll.

Punch’s brand manager, Scott Abney, said, “Fans haven’t been shy about telling us how much they loved the first Punch Egg Roll. So it only made sense to bring it back in a bigger size! Egg Roll XL has everything you remember and enjoyed about the original, and then some.”

Punch Egg Roll XL was produced at the HATSA Factory in Honduras. It features branding that nods to the Year of the Horse and comes in a Chinese takeout-style box. Each box contains twenty cigars. The MSRP per cigar is $7.99 and will begin shipping in February 2026.
