Perdomo Ships Legacy Father and Son to Retailers

August 17, 2026 By Matthew Tabacco

Last week, Perdomo Cigars began shipping its hot new limited edition release – the Perdomo Legacy Father and Son. Previously, the Perdomo family announced these cigars would not be ready until Q4, but instead are ready to ship ahead of schedule before the end of Summer. They were previously launched exclusive at Two Guys Cigars in New Hampshire back in May.

The Legacy Father and Son is available in only one size, a new viola the Perdomo’s have not used before. This cigar is a box-pressed 6 x 48 x 60 x 52 Gran Figurado and will have an MSRP of only $15. Each cigar in the Perdomo Legacy Father & Son series is crafted using 10–15-year aged tobaccos from extremely small, rare tobacco lots, harvested between 2011 and 2016. These filler tobaccos were sourced exclusively from Perdomo’s famed farms in Condega, Jalapa, and Estelí. Due to their limited bale counts and smaller yields, these tobaccos could never be utilized in regular production Perdomo brand – making this release truly exceptional.

Because of this, Perdomo Cigars says this will be an annual to semi annual release. In addition, the cigars will be packaged in fifty count cabinets versus the stand ten or twenty count boxes. Nicholas told us that each store will only a get a few of each variety to help ensure it is spread round as much as possible.

“Working together with my son on these incredible and unique blends has been a truly rewarding experience. Perdomo Legacy Father & Son reflects our shared passion for tobacco, our respect for our customers, and our commitment to quality. Seeing the next generation bring their vision to life makes the future of Perdomo Cigars extremely exciting.” said Nick Perdomo Jr, President and CEO of Perdomo Cigars.

Nicholas told Smokin Tabacco his dad’s blend is the Nicaraguan Shade Grown wrapper with a Nicaraguan Sun Grown binder. Nicholas blended the Nicaraguan Maduro and used the Nicaraguan Shade Grown wrapper priming as the binder. Nick and Nicholas then blended the Ecuadorian Connecticut together and used the same Nicaraguan Shade Grown wrapper priming as binder to also add those unique flavors. The fillers were blended using tobaccos from Estelí, Jalapa, & Condega in different variations.
