My Father Cigars was, for the second time, our Factory of the Year winner in 2024. Part of the reason they won was the level of quality in everything they do, including how they present themselves such as at a trade show. With the same booth they have used in the few years or at least since I have been coming to PCA, they were all out in full force with their matching black Members Only MF monogramed jackets with their ash tray and tea cup sets that look like they were made for royalty. I felt more of a sense of royalty and luxury in this booth than I did at let’s say…how about a random name – El Septimo. Excellence and perseverance are the words that come to mind when talking about this wonderful family.
We did present the Garcia family with our 2024 Factory of the Year award while in the booth.
There were three new items on display, one of them being a highlight for their new Honduran operation.
My Father Blue
Perhaps one of the most anticipated cigars at the entire show, the My Father Blue shared the stage with the Judge and the Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Limited Edition. I have only smoked a handful of the cigars released at the show and this is one of them. I will say this – expect something slightly different but something that it still a My Father cigar at its core. Even if you don’t enjoy Honduran tobacco – try it anyway as you might be very surprised.

Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Limited Edition
My Father also had a limited edition version of the Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ in a toro size with each box containing one Salomon in the middle within its own coffin. This was on display with the Blue and the Judge in the center of the booth. It comes in a beautiful glossy white box that is sure to become a collectors item.

On an unrelated note, the Garcias had these bone china ash tray and coffee cup sets with saucers and spoons. From what I understand, there are multiple sizes of the cups for different styles i.e. – Cappuccino, Espresso etc. You supposably can buy them from retailers but I am not sure how many are in circulation.
