The Hand Rolled docuseries will be debuting the next episode Hand Rolled: Julio R. Eiroa at the 2025 PCA trade show next month. The viewing will take place on Friday April 11th at 1:00 pm during the PCA education session at New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The viewing will be hosted by Aladino and be accompanied by filmmakers Steve Gherebean and Jesse Mariut. Viewers will be able to enjoy one of Aladino’s iconic cigars provided by the Aladino family.
The episode tells the story of an 87-year-old tobacco legend that not only pioneered the tobacco industry in Honduras but also has a rich personal history and influential moments with other big tobacco families. Julio R. Eiroa’s story is one of passion, perseverance and legacy. The new episode features interviews with his sons Justo and Christian Eiroa, John Oliva, Carlos “Carlito’ Fuente and Nestor Plasencia Sr.
The series follows the success of the Hand Rolled film, which has been streamed more than 430,000 times on YouTube. The episode’s future streaming platform to be announced. PCA attendees can also watch clips of the film at the Aladino (JRE Tobacco) booth.
