September 5, 2024 By Matthew Tabacco

Montecristo announced yesterday the addition of a 54 x 5 Robusto size extension to its celebrated 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua line. This expansion reflects the continued success and strong market presence of the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua series, which has garnered significant acclaim since its debut in 2020.

“The Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua blend is exceptionally well-suited for this Robusto size,” said Rafael Nodal, VP of Product Capability for Tabacalera U.S.A., expressing enthusiasm about the addition. “While all sizes in the range perform admirably, we saw a unique opportunity to introduce a Robusto to the line.”

The Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua, crafted as a luxurious Nicaraguan homage to the original Montecristo blend and introduced to celebrate the brand’s 85-year legacy, is part of Montecristo’s pinnacle collection. This medium to full-bodied cigar offers a rich array of flavors, including wood, coffee, cinnamon, earth, and spice, with a long-lasting, sweet finish that enhances its refined profile.
