LFD to Showcase New Line Solis at PCA

Litto Gomez Jr. was born into the cigar world. La Flor Dominicana had been founded 6 years before he first opened his eyes and 22 years later with the help of his father Litto and older brother Tony his first project has come to fruition. Solis, derived from the Latin word “sol” meaning sun, was conceived and perfected slowly over the last few years during Litto Jr’s breaks from college where he spent time with his father and brother at the LFD factory in Tamboril.

“I was inspired by my big brother’s project La Nox and I wanted to create something that contrasted it. We have pretty different personalities and I thought that the sun and moon were a perfect metaphor to describe us.”

With the idea in place, the Gomez trio set to work on making it a reality. Litto Sr. guided his son through the blending process while Tony pieced together the art to bring his brother’s vision to life.

The cigar itself features a sun grown Habano wrapper, Sumatra Binder, and a blend of Dominican tobaccos from La Flor Dominicana’s farm in La Canela. The resulting smoke is powerful and charismatic with bright flavors nuanced through a range of spices that make it unique yet undeniably LFD.

La Flor Dominicana is a vertically integrated premium cigar company, where we proudly control the process from the seed to the final grading, inspecting and packing process. Our tobaccos are grown at our farm in La Canela, Dominican Republic. Our factory is located in Tamboril.

Solis is a 6 1/2 x 50 and will be available for $12.20 per cigar. Solid will come in boxes of 20 and will ship late summer 2022.
