Lampert Releases Rum in the US

August 1, 2023 By Matthew Tabacco

Lampert Cigars has added its twelve-year-old rum – Lampert Rum – to their U.S. portfolio. The rum is made in Panama and aged for 12 years in white oak barrels previously used as bourbon barrels. The rum has aromas of buttery wet oak, kola nut and pistachio, vanilla, orange blossom, dried fruit, and toffee before you get subtle hint of anise on the nose.

On the palate, dried coconut balanced against the fine line between sweet and dry as it cascades through cream soda, dark fruit, vanilla custard, toasted oak, and toasted coconut before showing dry, toasted wood with a hint of anise. The palate remains well balanced on the long finish.

“We highly recommend complementing our exquisite twelve-year-old rum with one of our Lampert 1675 Edición Azul cigars”, emphasized Dr. Stefan Lampert, the visionary founder behind Lampert Rum and Lampert Cigars. The twelve-year-old Lampert Rum is a small batch production and is currently limited to 500 bottles. Lampert Rum twelve-year-old has a MSRP of $65 U.S. and is at the moment available for private consumers via the online store of Del Mesa Liquors.

“We are actively engaged in discussions with distributors to introduce our exceptional rum into esteemed local Brick and Mortar stores”, conveyed Dr. Stefan Lampert. LAMPERT RUM is currently available in Austria, Germany, Sweden, Slovakia, Switzerland and the United States.
