La Aurora announced they would debut the La Aurora Small Batch Lot No. 7, a limited-edition cigar created by Master Blender, Manuel Inoa at PCA 2025. PCA and La Aurora are teaming up to share a special Small Batch at this year’s 2025 show, honoring the alliance members who are cigar-friendly businesses such as wineries, breweries, and restaurants.
La Aurora Small Batch is a collection of limited production cigars created by their Master Blender, Manuel Inoa, who reached back into the aging room pulling out his favorite creations. Small Batch Lot No. 7 will be available in a Vintage Robusto format (4.5 x 50). Lot No. 7 features a complex blend of Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Peru filler tobaccos that are harmonized by a double binder with Dominican tobacco for its strength, and Cameroon for its sweetness, and wrapped in a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. Lot No. 7 will be available in dress boxes of ten handmade cigars, each aged twenty-one years. This limited-edition and exclusive cigar release will be exclusively at PCA. Lot No. 7 will be available in a limited 180 boxes and is expected to sell out. The boxes have an MSRP of $150 per box, or $15 per cigar.
“Small Batch is a series that is very special to me. Not only because I created it, but it is literally in the name. These cigars will only ever exist in small batches: each release features distinct tasting notes rooted in tobaccos that have been aged and are unable to be blended and rolled in large scale quantities,” said Master Blender, Manuel Inoa. “Lot No. 7 is especially important to us as it is a vintage robusto that boasts one of the longest ages in all our small batch lots at twenty-one years and is being released as a PCA Alliance Exclusive.”
The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) introduced the PCA Alliance in 2024. PCA Alliance is available to premium cigar-friendly businesses such as wineries, breweries, restaurants, country golf clubs, and individual consumers who want to do their part to support those businesses that sell premium cigars and pipe tobacco products. The PCA Alliance is an avenue to support the industry’s advocacy through financial support and participation.
“We are excited to collaborate with La Aurora on this special release. This will enable our team to provide an event cigar to alliance members that sign up at our PCA events and regional meet and greets. Our team was able to test this cigar at La Aurora’s factory during Pro Cigar and Manuel really hit this one out of the park” says PCA’s Executive Director Joshua Habursky
“The PCA Alliance is extremely important to the industry as we look for U.S. allies in cigar-friendly businesses like golf clubs, restaurants, and spirits manufacturers passionate about partnering with premium cigar brands like ourselves,” said John Ferrigan, La Aurora, USA National Sales Director. “We are excited to release Small Batch 7 as a PCA Alliance Exclusive and a continuation of the support of this industry.”
Each Small Batch limited-edition release has a special story – a selection of leaves and notes that La Aurora crafted specifically for limited editions or other small-scale projects and have treasured in limited quantities in their aging room, with some having been aged up to twenty-one years. As a result, unique cigars are being released within the Small Batch line, each representing a different exploration from years past of Master Blender Manuel Inoa. Every edition will have an individual format, blend, and unrepeatable tasting notes due to their advanced ages. La Aurora stated recent Small Batch releases have sold out in less than two weeks.
