La Aurora revealed today the Limited Edition Lancero Collection. Known as one of the more difficult formats to roll and loved by aficionados for the wrapper to filler ratio. The Lancero collection will feature a collection of ten cigars (two of each brand) including the never-before-released 120 Anniversary Lancero and hard-to-find 100 Años and Preferido Platinum Lanceros. The collection is complete with the following cigars in Lancero formats (6 7/8 x 40):
- 120 Anniversary (Dominican Republic Habano ‘92 wrapper)
- 100 Años (Dominican Republic Corojo wrapper)
- 107 Nicaragua (Nicaragua wrapper)
- Preferido Platinum (Cameroon wrapper)
- Fernando León (Corojo – Ecuador wrapper)
“Entrusted to only our most seasoned rollers, the lancero is a format I have come to love due to the challenge in crafting each blend. This collection truly defines the La Aurora brand and the quality for which it stands.” says Manuel Ynoa, La Aurora Master Blender, in a press release.
Only 500 boxes will be available in the U.S. Market. This collection is expected to start shipping to retailers in late October and will retail for $190.
