JRE Tobacco has announced the highly-anticipated return of the Aladino Corojo Reserva No. 4 shipping to retailers in August.
Originally launched in 2019 as a limited-edition extension of the Aladino Corojo Reserva line, the No. 4 quickly became a cult favorite among connoisseurs for its bold yet refined profile. It made subsequent limited returns in 2021 and 2022, with each release selling out in record time. Retailers were able to pre-order their No. 4 boxes earlier this year at PCA.
The No. 4 is a classic Cuban-style Corona vitola (5 x 44). What sets this vitola apart is its use of higher priming Corojo leaves, meaning tobaccos harvested from the upper part of the plant. These leaves are smaller, denser, and more potent, classified as ligero, and deliver a fuller-bodied experience with deep complexity.
The No.4 is a full-bodied Honduran puro, with bold peppery and earthy foundation, layered beneath espresso, cedar, chocolate, and sweet spiceculminating in a spicy, complex, and refined smoke. This re-release of the No. 4 reflects JRE Tobacco’s continued commitment to showcasing the full potential of Authentic Corojo, combining heritage-driven cultivation with small-batch artistry.
