Jake Wyatt Cigar Co. will be debuting a new cigar at the TPE24 Tradeshow in Las Vegas beginning Wednesday, January 31st. The Icarus cigar boasts a San Andres Maduro wrapper and a Dominican Olor binder, complemented by an intricate mix of fillers including Tennessee fire-cured, Criollo 98, Piloto Cubano, and Pennsylvania Broadleaf. Nuances of coffee, leather, cedar, and molasses add depth, while a subtle mesquite touch round out the cigar.
Icarus was a daring figure in Greek mythology who soared on wings crafted by his father, Daedalus. Ignoring warnings, he ascended towards the sun, intoxicated by the heavens. The sun’s fiery embrace melted his waxen wings, sending Icarus plummeting into the depths of the Agean Sea. Icarus, like tobacco leaves kissed by Tennessee fire, soared too close to the sun. Ambition met flames, a cautionary tale in every ember.
The Icarus cigar will be released in a Toro (6 x 54) and will be available in 5-packs.
