HVC has announced their 2022 holiday edition of Black Friday. This is an annual special release that comes out for the holiday season just before the actual day of “Black Friday”. The cigar will come in cabinets of fifty cigars and only 600 boxes were made. It is a 5 1/2 x 50 Robusto that substitutes the ligero for visos and secos from Jalapa and Esteli. It is finished with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.
“This year I went on different direction when I come to the blend from previous years. I am a flavor hunter when I come to blending, so this year in this blend. I did not use Ligero only Visos and Secos in the filler most from Jalapa region and a little bit of Esteli but the visos are powerful enough to bring the cigar a unique body to this blend. For the wrapper Habano 92 from Cuba growing in Ecuador.” says Reinier Lorenzo, owner of HVC.
MSRP for this cigar is $8.50 while a box will set you back $425. They will begin shipping to retailers by the end of the month.
