Closer to the back of the trade show bordering the main back walkway was a bumping booth with people hanging out smoking cigars and taking tons of pictures, it was Howard G Cigars. The booth was a longer rectangular format with an open concept, cigars on the back wall to the left, with a table in front of them to talk sales, and a nice couch area to the right of the booth called the “All Pro Cigars Den” where you could find All Pro Leon Searcy and two-time Super Bowl champion Ike Taylor hanging out and talking shop.
Howard G Cigars had one new release for this year and was in the theme of one of the team’s favorite pastimes, golf. The Perfect Round is an 18-count box with two Dominican puro blends named the Front Nine, and Back Nine. The Front Nine is a Dominican grown Connecticut Shade seed wrapper over Dominican Wrapper and Fillers, while the Back Nine is a Dominican grown Habano Wrapper over Dominican Binder and Fillers. It will be offered as a regular production, with an MSRP of $16 per cigar.
Make sure to watch and listen to the interview for the excitement from Ike, Leon, and Howard himself about this new blend and their entire portfolio.
Mitchell Santaga – Product Reviews & Content Creator
Mitchell Santaga started his journey into tobacco in 2010 by trying different flavored and machine-made cigars while enjoying a handle of Jack Daniels. Shortly after that he yearned for a more premium experience and dove headfirst into pipe tobacco that his local tobacconist blended.
Being a Canadian resident, the tobacconist introduced Mitchell to Cuban cigars and for special occasions he would light up a Cuban cigar. After exploring the Cuban portfolio, he stumbled into new world cigars and fell in love with the bold flavors and great consistency and construction. Ever since then he has been entrenched in exploring as much of the new world cigars and finding his favorites to keep in the humidor.
