During the 2023 Carribean Habanos Days event in Willemstad, Curacao, Habanos S.A. introduced a new size of the Vegueros line called the Vegueros Centrogordos. In a memorable weekend full of activities, the third edition of the Caribbean Habanos Day took place at the Kontiki Hotel. The more than 150 lucky attendees, including area franchisees, retailers and fans from around ten countries in Central America and the Caribbean, were able to enjoy this new vitola, a world premiere. The activities continued the next day, when the guests were able to be part of the Longest Ash Contest in which the participant Don Bakhuis from Curacao was the winner. In addition, they enjoyed a special smoke and pairing with the Bolívar New Gold Medal vitola and the Varadero rum 15 years. The event closed with a flourish with a party under the title of La Gran Noche accompanied by a delicious dinner and music from the island, during which attendees witnessed the auction of humidors, in which the auction of the Vegueros Humidor with 216 Habanos managed to raise $20,000 that will be donated to the Cuban Public Health system.
