Habanos S.A. Announces Three New Cigars and 2022 Earnings

Habanos S.A., the Cuban-State cigar conglomerate kicked off its annual Festival del Habano festival for the first time since 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, yesterday. Right off the bat we have seen three new cigars as well as an announcement of their earnings from last year.

Habanos stated their earnings from last year totaled a whopping $545 million dollars in revenue. This is a 2% growth over last year and with the dramatic increase of their prices last year, expect it to continue.

“These results reflect the perfect combination of the passion we all feel in this wonderful Habano business and the strength of our brands. They put the cherry on top of the unique tobacco that grows in this land and that offers unparalleled moments and experiences to aficionados from all over the world,” says Maritza Carrillo González and Luis Sánchez-Harguindey Pardo de Vera, Co-Presidents of Habanos, S.A. in a press release.

In addition, the three new cigars Habanos showed yesterday include:

  • Montecristo Open Slam

  • Bolivar New Gold Medal (Available Exclusively at La Casa del Habano)

  • Partagas Linea Maesrta (Available in three sizes; Origen, Rito, & Maestro)

No other information was presented and more will follow in the coming days.
