Habanos S.A. announced this week that the Festival del Habano XXIV in 2024 will take place from February 26th – March 1st, 2024 in Havana, Cuba. The Habanos Festival, as it is informally called, is held annually in Havana and host a wide range of people from all over the world from retailers and distributors to media. The event is somewhat similar to other festivals such as ProCigar (Dominican Republic) and PuroSabor (Nicaragua) hosted in countries where a large majority of the worlds cigars are made.

There are formal and informal parties and events, factory tours, farm tours and seminars along with a small trade show where attendees can purchase cigars from any of Habanos’ many brands. There is also a meeting that showcases new products and discusses performance and financial figures from the previous year and the plans for the future. The crown jewel event however is the final night event where multiple one of a kind and very expensive humidors are auctioned off and sold, some of which have gone for millions of dollars.
