The Coleccion Especial was announced during this year’s PCA Trade Show in Las Vegas, NV. Released to only 150 retailers across the country, a special invitation was mailed out to invite those retailers to a private unveiling of the brand. “The Coleccion Especial was an immediate hit for everyone that had a chance to taste it at the show,” declared Juan Lopez. “It’s hybrid Connecticut wrapper boasts a creamy and earthy, smooth and mild profile; something Gurkha hasn’t had in a long time. It’s an easy smoke for any time of the day.” The Coleccion Especial is being released in 10 count boxes size Robusto, Toro, and Lonsdale and will retail between $13-15.00 before taxes.
Gurkha first released the Coleccion Especial in an exclusive shape and size to the TAA earlier this year. It sold out quickly and retailers have been asking for more! “Retailers have loved the flavor, construction, and packaging of the Coleccion Especial TAA Exclusive,” says Jim Colucci, President of Gurkha Cigars. “We’re excited to present this product to a larger group of cigar lovers and can’t wait to hear their responses.”
Adorned in a high gloss, white box with a gold Gurkha Soldier, these 10 count boxes will hit select retail shelves in the coming week.
