Gurkha Announces Select Price Adjustments To Absorb Tariff Increases

May 27, 2025 By Matthew Tabacco

In a statement from Gurkha Cigar Group, a tariff related price increase claims yet another manufacturer. Below is the statement made by Gurkha;

As tariffs have raised prices on some imported cigars, Gurkha Cigars will be implementing price adjustments on select products distributed into the U.S. market, effective Monday, June 2, 2025.

For years, Gurkha has prided itself on providing the public with cigars of elite quality that consumers can readily afford. Though we face factory and material price hikes, the company has successfully avoided broader annual pricing increases.

The adjustment we’ve made comes after careful, product-by-product analysis with our factory partners. We’ve adapted so that many of Gurkha’s product prices will remain the same where possible.

“Gurkha remains deeply committed to providing our customers with first-class cigars at the most affordable price possible for our coveted handmade cigars,” said Juan Lopez, Vice President of Sales at Gurkha. “Our adjustments ensure the maintenance of our product quality despite the global supply chain shifts.”
