Fuente The Opus X Society has announced the first chapter of The Society’s Chronicles—Gold & Bullet. This exclusive release is presented in a meticulously crafted wooden box, finished with a sleek and elegant combination of gold and silver lacquer. Inside, a rich blue suede tray cradles twelve cigars, emphasizing both luxury and attention to detail.
“Gold stands for achieving goals, success, and growth earned through wisdom effort, and perseverance. At the same time, the Bullet is a stark reminder of life’s fragility and the unforeseen moments that can shatter our aspirations.” Manny Iriarte added in a press release.
The blend for Episodio Uno will be different from the first Opus X Society cigar, offering a distinctive new profile. Featuring a unique wrapper and an all-new size – 6 3/4 x 50, however the blend details have not been disclosed. Manny says this project is a limited edition of 1,500 boxes numbered worldwide.
“That’s a powerful concept. I like the contrast between “Gold” and “Bullet” — the universal push-pull between success and struggle, light and shadow, achievement and the pressures or fears chasing us.” said Manny Iriarte. “It resonates deeply because everyone feels both sides of that at some point.” Like the previous OpusX Society cigar, sales and distribution of this new Gold & Bullet cigar will not be managed by Arturo Fuente, but by: The Smoking Frenchies LLC.
In addition, the company announced a collaboration with French luxury accessories brand Elie Bleu. They will be unveiling a limited-edition lacquer finish lighter and cutter set. Featuring the J12-shaped lighter paired with a EBC5 V-Cutter, this collection is available in two finishes: Gold and Silver. Each set is strictly limited to only 155 individually numbered pieces.
The new Fuente The OpusX Society cigar and its Episodio Uno: Gold & Bullet will be presented for the very first time for pre-orders at the 2025 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans. Future purchases will only be accepted from pre-existing Fuente The OpusX Society accounts that have continually supported the brand since 2019.
