Sam and Rosie at Fine Ash Cigars, a retailer in Glendale, Arizona, have made their own cigar called Ceniza Fina. The name is the Spanish translation of the store’s name, fine ash. The Ceniza Fina blend showcases a combination of premium tobaccos and is available in three classic vitolas.

  • Wrapper: Corojo
  • Binder: Mexican
  • Filler: Piloto Cubano, Criollo 98, Nica Jalapa & HVA
  • Corona Gorda: 6 x 46 – $9.50 MSRP each 20ct Box $190.00 MSRP
  • Robusto: 5×50 – $10.00 MSRP each 20ct Box $200.00 MSRP
  • Toro: 6×50 – $10.50 MSRP each 20ct Box $210.00 MSRP
  • Factory: Tabacalera La Isla
  • Origin: Dominican Republic

We are told that initial production will be 5000 cigars of each vitola, 15,000 total cigars made with 250 boxes of each vitola for 750 total boxes. Each cigar is individually barcoded as is each box.

According to a press release from Pospiech Cigars, distributor of Ceniza Fina, Ceniza Fina boasts a medium strength profile that appeals to both seasoned smokers and newcomers to the world of cigars. With each draw, expect a delightful interplay of flavors, including subtle notes of pepper, Graham cracker, and toasted marshmallow. Mike Szczepankewicz of Pospiech Cigars said these should begin shipping to stores sometime later this month.

“We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Hostos on Ceniza Fina. This partnership is the result of our friendship and shared passion for exceptional cigars. We’ve always admired the quality and craftsmanship of Hostos blends and expertise in tobacco and cigar making. We are excited for the cigar community to be able to enjoy Ceniza Fina, as much as we do!”- Sam & Rosie Lopez
