Ferio Tego Announces Return of ‘Metropolitan’ Line

January 19, 2022 By Matthew Tabacco

Just over one year after the formation of Ferio Tego, LLC and following the successful launches of the Ferio Tego flagship brand and the Ferio Tego Timeless Collection in the fall of 2021, the company is pleased to announce the availability of the Metropolitan Selection brand starting today. Orders can be placed immediately and will begin shipping this week.

“Ferio Tego Metropolitan Selection is an important part of our portfolio.  It is made up of blends that embody the most traditional expressions of their origins,” said Michael Herklots, Ferio Tego co-owner.

“Many of these blends were created more than twenty-five years ago and have been painstakingly maintained year after year.  We are very proud to continue that work.”

Michael has been on a role this past year and has done an amazing job with his business partner, Brendan Scott, by his side. Earlier this month Michael was awarded our 2021 “Man of the Year” Award for his success in not only the way he built his new brand and was able to bring the existing brands over with him, but also for the way he so elegantly closed the previous chapter of his life for all of us who were fans of Nat Sherman.

A collection of five blends, made in three countries, the Metropolitan Selection is as diverse as it is delicious.  The Metropolitan Connecticut and Maduro are manufactured in the Dominican Republic, in a mellow blend of Dominican fillers and binder tobaccos and available in either a Connecticut Shade or a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper.  The Metropolitan Habano is a Nicaraguan puro (100% Nicaraguan tobaccos), made in Nicaragua, with a wonderful medium, creamy body.  The Metropolitan Host and Host Maduro hail from Honduras with a smooth, sweet flavor.  The Metropolitan Selection is offered in boxes of 18 cigars (except the Banker in boxes of ten), and ranges in price between $7 and $11 per cigar before applicable taxes.

Ferio Tego is distributed in the United States by Davidoff of Geneva, USA.
