Ferio Tego has announced the Ferio Tego Milestones, a limited-edition handmade premium cigar created in collaboration with the Miles Davis Estate and global independent music company Reservoir as part of the official Miles Davis Centennial celebration throughout 2026. The Miles Davis Centennial marks one hundred years since the birth of one of the most influential musicians and creative figures of the modern era.
“This cigar was created to reflect qualities I admire in Miles’ most enduring work; approachability, sophistication, structure, nuance, expression, restraint, and depth,” said Michael Herklots, co-owner and blender of Ferio Tego. “One does not need to be an expert to love Miles Davis, but experts have spent lifetimes studying his music. This cigar was created with that in mind. It is approachable and appealing, yet structured and nuanced. Easy for anyone to enjoy, with plenty of depth for the developed palate.”
Herklots, a graduate of Berklee College of Music (’02) with a degree in Drum Set Performance, studied and performed the music of Miles Davis throughout his education and career as a musician. He performed in the Miles Davis Ensemble while at Berklee.
Ferio Tego Milestones takes its name from both the landmark 1958 Miles Davis album and its title track, while also acknowledging the significance of the Centennial celebration and the role cigars often play in celebrating meaningful moments. Ferio Tego Milestones is a 6” x 50 toro-sized cigar produced in Honduras by Agroindustrias. The blend features an Ecuador-grown Connecticut seed wrapper, Honduran binder, and fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
Presented in ten-count boxes featuring the iconic silhouette of Miles Davis prominently on the lid, each box of Ferio Tego Milestones includes one of four commemorative 5” x 7” reproductions of original Miles Davis sketches, presented in an envelope inside the box. Beyond his achievements in music, Davis was also a visual artist whose drawings and paintings reflected the same expressive spirit found throughout his work. Four hundred boxes of each sketch edition were produced. The editions are identified as Sketch One, Sketch Two, Sketch Three, and Sketch Four. Retailers will receive the release in complete four-sketch box sets, made up of one box of each sketch edition.
Each box also includes a QR code linking to a playlist curated by Herklots, Reservoir, and the Miles Davis Estate, with tracks selected to accompany the experience of enjoying a Ferio Tego cigar.
Ferio Tego Milestones is limited to 1,600 total boxes, with a suggested retail price of $185 per box, excluding applicable taxes. The release is scheduled to begin shipping in Summer 2026.

I have played the music of Miles Davis countless times with musicians I had never met, who spoke languages I could not understand and came from places I had never been, yet we could all play the same tune.
