August 15, 2022 By Matthew Tabacco

This week the 100th Anniversary cigar for Federal Cigars of Portsmouth and Epping, New Hampshire will go on sale at the company’s anniversary party. That event will take place this Saturday, August 20th at the Federal Cigar shop, 96 Calef Highway, Epping New Hampshire from 11AM to 6PM.

The cigars themselves were made by Steve Saka of Dunbrton Tobacco and Trust. The 100th Anniversary will be 6 1/4 by 52 “Prensados” and will feature a San Andreas Negro “Cultivo Tonto” wrapper over a Ecuadorian Habano Visa Colorado binder and filled with Nicaraguan Jalapa Seco, Jamastran Viso from Honduras, Nicaraguan Visa from Esteli, and Pennsylvania Seedless Ligero. Saka says this cigar is a Medium-Full body with notes of “cocoa, toffee with a tempered spice and a buttery, soft finish.”

Only 185 boxes were made which Steve claims is the smallest limited production product he has done. In-store only with a free soapstone ashtray of purchases of $1,000 or more. These will surely be highly sought after by any DTT fan. For more information, contact Jeremy Soares at jsoares@federalcigars.com or call 603-436-5363.
