Espinosa Adds Knuckle Sandwich Puro Nicaragua Line

April 7, 2025 By Matthew Tabacco

Espinosa Premium Cigars will make yet another addition to the Knuckle Sandwich core lineup: Knuckle Sandwich Puro Nicaragua —a bold, full-flavored cigar crafted entirely with 100% Nicaraguan tobacco.

Already known for its Connecticut, Habano, and Maduro offerings, Knuckle Sandwich Cigars now adds a new dimension with Puro Nicaragua, a cigar that captures the heart and soul of Nicaraguan tobacco. Blended by Espinosa Cigars and produced at the San Lotano Factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, this new release is a celebration of the country’s rich soils, bold flavors, and signature spice.

“This one’s special,” said Erik Espinosa. “We’ve worked with Nicaraguan tobacco for years, but this is the first time we’ve gone all Nicaraguan. It’s got strength, flavor, and that unmistakable spice note that runs through the entire smoke. It’s a true puro, and for sure a true Knuckle Sandwich.”

Wrapped in a dark Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro, with Nicaraguan binder and filler, Puro Nicaragua delivers a rich, full-bodied experience designed for those who appreciate complexity, balance, and a touch of intensity. Packaged in twenty-count boxes, the Knuckle Sandwich Puro Nicaragua will be available in three sizes:

  • Robusto (5 x 52) – $13.50 per cigar · $270.00 per box
  • Toro (6 x 54) – $14.50 per cigar · $290.00 per box
  • Gordo (6 x 60) – $14.99 per cigar · $299.98 per box

The Knuckle Sandwich Puro Nicaragua will be showcased at the Premium Cigar Association’s Trade Show, April 12th – 14th, in New Orleans and will begin shipping to select premium retailers nationwide shortly thereafter.
