Española Cigars Announces Aniversario 30 Years for PCA 2026

February 15, 2026 By Matthew Tabacco

Española Cigars has unveiled its latest milestone release, Española Aniversario 30 Years, a limited-edition cigar crafted to honor the brand’s 30th anniversary and its enduring legacy in premium handmade cigars. JM Tobacco’s history began in 1996 but the inspiration for that venture began in 1994 when Anto Mahroukian bought his father, John Mahroukian who was a jeweler, a cigar for his birthday. When his father learned he spent twenty dollars on a cigar, he began to ponder the opportunities in the cigar business.

Produced at the renowned Tabacalera Robles factory (the same world-class facility behind celebrated artisanal cigars such as Blackbird Cigars), Española Aniversario represents three decades of dedication to traditional blending, meticulous construction, and tobacco excellence.

Española Aniversario is offered in two vitolas and two rich, uniquely balanced blends:

  • Lancero — 7” x 38 | Retail: $15
  • Toro — 6” x 52 | Retail: $16
  • Box: Ten cigars
  • Production: 1,000 boxes per size

Maduro

  • Wrapper: San Andrés (Mexico)
  • Binder: HBA (Dominican Republic)
  • Filler: Dominican Republic, USA (Pennsylvania)

Habano

  • Wrapper: Habano (Ecuador)
  • Binder: San Andrés (Mexico)
  • Filler: Dominican Republic, USA (Pennsylvania)

Bright and vibrant, the Sun Grown Habano edition offers balanced spice, cedar sweetness, and nuanced citrus notes, a refined expression of Dominican and Mexican tobacco heritage. Both blends were expertly blended and hand-rolled during the Summer of 2024, then carefully aged for almost two years to ensure peak maturity, flavor integration, and a seamless smoking experience from start to finish.

Española Cigars has spent 30 years building a legacy rooted in quality and community. Española Aniversario is more than just a cigar, it’s a celebration of the brand’s journey, its commitment to craftsmanship, and the loyal aficionados who have supported Spanish-inspired cigar culture over three decades.
