Davidoff announced it will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Signature 2000 brand in 2026 with special packaging. All boxes and packs will carry a gold 50th Anniversary milestone sticker through 2026.
Since its debut, the 2000 has remained Davidoff’s most enjoyed creation. Davidoff claims that every 30 seconds, a cigar smoker somewhere in the world smokes one. Signature 2000 originally debuted as a Cuban cigar in 1976 and at the time was known as the Davidoff 2000. The line was discontinued in 1991 when Davidoff stopped using Cuban tobacco, however, it was reintroduced later as a Dominican cigar. Together with Grand Cru, Aniversario and Millennium, Signature forms the White Band Collection – a collection whose iconic status has been shaped in no small part by the enduring success of the 2000.
