Davidoff Announces Return to PCA Trade Show in 2025

August 13, 2024 By Matthew Tabacco

Today, Davidoff of Geneva USA announced they will be retuning to the Premium Cigar Association Trade Show and Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana for 2025. Previously, Davidoff has not attended a trade show since 2019, back when it was known as the IPCPR (International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailers) trade show. PCA 2025 will take place between April 11-14th 2025.

2020, Davidoff of Geneva, Altadis U.S.A., Drew Estate and General Cigar Co (commonly referred to as the “Big Four”) announced they would no longer be attending the trade show over a variety of reasons. In 2023, General and Altadis returned while Drew Estate rejoined the mix in 2024. The 2025 show will be the first show to feature all four together again.

The moving of the show earlier in the year was a major factor for the others to return when they did and based on a press release from Davidoff, it has done the same for them. Davidoff said moving the show earlier in the year “better fits the company’s and industry’s business cycle and projects the opportunity of more impactful presentation of the company’s brands and pro- grams going forward.”

In a press release, Zak Medwin, Ad Interim President & Commercial Director said, “I’m very pleased that in recent conversations with PCA leadership we have found closer alignment and a shared vision of shaping our beautiful industry’s future.”

“The PCA event is more than just a trade show for us — it is an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the premium cigar industry and our valued business partners. We are looking forward to spotlighting our iconic brands, connecting with all industry stakeholders and continuing to strengthen our long-standing partnerships.”

Davidoff has not announced any other details regarding their return, including whether the Golden Band Awards dinner will also be returning.
