Crowned Heads is excited to announce that it will debut the Le Pâtissier brand at PCA 2022 in Las Vegas. Le Pâtissier originally came onto the premium cigar scene as a 2021 PCA exclusive and was a 6 1/2″ x 44 parejo. It quickly grew a cult following and received critical acclaim. Now a year later, it will be released as a regular production release. It will however, be available in four new vitolas.
“We knew going into last year’s PCA show that we had something special in the Le Pâtissier blend,” says Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads. “Having said that, dialing that blend down into a 44 ring gauge was a challenge as we could only use lower priming wrappers that would yield a thinner cover leaf. Immediately after the release, we went to work on – repurposing the Le Pâtissier blend into a slightly larger ring gauge, and it took the flavor profile and performance to the next level. The result is a Broadleaf expression that os completely unique to any of our previous forays with that wrapper.”
Le Pâtissier will be available in four classic vitolas:
-
Senadores (6 1/8″ x 48)
-
No. 50 (4 3/8″ x 50)
-
Canonazo (5 7/8″ x 52)
-
No. 54 (5 3/8″ x 54)
The blend features a Nicaraguan binder, filler tobacco from Nicaragua and Costa Rica and is finished with a Grade A Dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Le Pâtissier has an MSRP of $10.50 – $12.00 per imager and is manufactured at Tabacalera Pichardo in Esteli, Nicaragua. Le Pâtissier ships in July 2022.
