Crowned Heads announced today that it will be expanding on its limited-edition Blood Medicine line. Three new sizes are set to be introduced for their 2025 release.
Blood Medicine was originally released back in 2022 as an event only cigar. It gets its name from a three-story building in Nashville on the corner of Broadway and 4th Avenue. That building was originally built in 1872 as a pharmacy but then in 1892 it was converted into a hotel. In 1988, the building was sold and reopened as the Merchants Restaurant. Many tales about this particular building have been shared however its roots as a pharmacy still remain with the words “Blood Medicine” still painted on the walls of the third-floor exposed brick walls.
In 2024, Crowned Heads decided to release the Blood Medicine LE 2024, a 6″ x 52 toro, with only 18,000 total cigars being made. Now the company will release Blood Medicine in three new sizes, and they will each come in boxes of twenty-one cigars.

“The response to last year’s Blood Medicine LE 2024 was overwhelming, and actually caught us off guard a bit,” said Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads. “Last year, the 1,500 boxes sold out in a matter of days, and the feedback to that release and the demand for more was insane. So, this year we’re expanding the brand, and we are releasing the original blend in twenty-one-count cabs available in three different vitolas, in the hopes that more people can experience this dynamic and unique cigar.”
Crowned Heads says the new 2025 Blood Medicine LE will begin shipping at the end of the month. A representative from Crowned Heads told Smokin Tabacco this morning that they have already sold out.
