This year’s Moose Kick Limited Edition 2025 was developed by Crowned Heads & OZ Family Cigar VP of Sales Miguel M. Schoedel and Brigham’s Premium Cigar Category Manager Richard Joseph. The band continues to take inspiration from a series of iconic Canadian stamps featuring one of its most identifiable national symbols—the moose. For 2025, the band design has been refreshed with a bold red stripe in place of last year’s green, offering a fresh visual update while retaining its original Canadian character.
The name Moose Kick remains a clever nod to the popular Four Kicks Mule Kick, an annual Crowned Heads limited edition released in the United States. Both Miguel and Richard saw this project as a continued way to honour the loyal following of Crowned Heads smokers in Canada.
The 2025 Moose Kick is a 4 7/8 x 52, medium-bodied blend featuring a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper with Nicaraguan filler and binder. As with last year’s edition, production is being handled by DHatuey in Estelí, Nicaragua, and the cigars will be packaged and sold in 10-count bundles.
This year’s release will see a total production of 5,000 cigars, available at retail tobacconists across Canada just in time for the Holiday Season.
Crowned Heads is a premium cigar brand based in Nashville, TN, founded in 2011 by industry veterans Tim Ozgener, Mike Conder and Jon Huber. Brigham Enterprises, based in Toronto, Canada, is a pipe, cigar, and tobacco distributor founded in 1906 and has been the official distributor of Crowned Heads in Canada since 2018.
