Cavalier Genève Cigars has announced the release of a brand-new line, Project Broadleaf, debuting at PCA 2025. The company will also showcase its Limited Edition 2025 (LE2025) at the tradeshow, where pre-orders will officially open.
Project Broadleaf introduces a unique approach to Cavalier’s portfolio. Due to the challenges of sourcing Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, this new core line will be released in four unique releases per year, each featuring a distinct size and blend variation centered around the CT Broadleaf wrapper.
The first release of the Project Broadleaf is Skywalker. This will be a 6 x 48 Parejo that will come in fifty-count cabinets. Project Broadleaf Skywalker features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, San Andrés binder, and fillers from Jalapa, Estelí, and Jamastrán. Skywalker will have an MSRP of $15.60 per cigar ($780.00 per 50-count cabinet).

The inaugural release, Skywalker, will be offered in fifty-count cabinets, with only 100 boxes produced annually. Of these, seventy-five boxes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at PCA 2025. The Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper used in these cigars has undergone fermentation for three to three and a half years, and an additional year of resting in bales between fermentation stages. The Project Broadleaf Skywalker will ship immediately after PCA to the select retailers able to secure them during the show.
The second release is called Project Broadleaf Boartamer, and it will be a 5.25 x 52 and come in ten-count aluminum foil packs. A total of 500 bundles will be made available globally, with pre-orders opening at PCA. Shipping is expected between early and mid-June 2025. Project Broadleaf Boartamer Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Habano Jalapa binder and fillers fromJalapa, Estelí, Ometepe and Jamastrán. MSRP is set at $14.60 per cigar ($146.00 per ten-count pack).
The details regarding the third and fourth releases under Project Broadleaf for 2025 remain undisclosed at this time. However, all four releases will become annual offerings, with potential tweaks to their blends over time.
“These cigars are some of the most intense and rich releases we’ve introduced so far, offering a bold new experience for our customers. This is an exciting step for us, and we can’t wait to share it with the public.”
Alongside Project Broadleaf, Cavalier Genève Cigars will also unveil a pre-release version of the LE2025 at PCA, with pre-orders opening during the show.
The LE 2025 will be available in a single size: 6 1/4 x 50, featuring a closed foot and pigtail cap. As with the previous years’ Cavalier Limited Editions, the blend remains undisclosed and will never be re-released. A total of 1,948 boxes of ten cigars have been produced. Just over 1,000 boxes will ship to U.S. retailers. Approximately 900 boxes will be allocated to international markets.
