Casa Carrillo Announces Price Adjustment Effective June 1st

May 20, 2025 By Matthew Tabacco

Casa Carrillo announced today that it will implement a modest wholesale price increase of $0.25 per cigar, effective June 1st, 2025, in response to newly imposed tariffs that have significantly raised the cost of importing cigars. The company emphasized that this decision was made only after careful consideration and a commitment to supporting its retail partners.

“To help our partners maintain pricing stability, we have been fully absorbing the tariff costs since early April and will continue to do so through the end of May,” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, “Even with the upcoming price adjustment, we remain committed to easing the impact on our customers by continuing to shoulder a meaningful portion of the tariff burden.”

The updated pricing will be reflected in a new price list, which will be distributed to retailers later this month. Retailers are encouraged to place orders prior to the June 1st adjustment to take advantage of current pricing.

Casa Carrillo remains committed to delivering the highest standards of quality, consistency, and craftsmanship in every cigar it produces. The company appreciates the continued support of its retail partners and looks forward to maintaining strong relationships as the industry adapts to this evolving economic landscape.
