Broncano Cigar Co Launches Classic Toro Line

March 1, 2025 By Matthew Tabacco

Founded in 2022 by U.S. Marine Corps veteran Martin Smith, Broncano Cigar Co was built on a foundation of heritage, craftsmanship, and complex blends. Under the guidance of Claudio Sgroi and CST Consulting, the company developed its founding principles, ensuring a steadfast commitment to tobacco excellence, integrity, and masterful craftsmanship. Sgroi’s expertise also played a pivotal role in refining Broncano’s post-production quality control and flavor evaluation, further solidifying its dedication to quality and innovation.

Now, Broncano Cigar Co is officially launching its Classic Toro line, now available nationwide after an exclusive early release with select retailers. This marks a significant expansion for the company, strengthening its presence in premium cigar shops and lounges. The rollout follows the successful introduction of the Broncano Vintage Toro, a twenty-year-aged cigar originally produced in March 2004 at La Aurora.

The Classic Toro Line

  • Broncano Classic Royal Blue Toro (6 x 52) – $16
  • Broncano Classic Silver Toro (6 x 50) – $15

The Royal Blue Toro features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Dominican Monteplata binder, and a Dominican Criollo 98 Seco, USA Broadleaf Ligero, BVS Seco African Tobacco, and Dominican Corojo filler. Produced at Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF), the cigar delivers a bold, earthy profile with spice and subtle sweetness.

The Silver Toro sports a San Andrés (Mexico) wrapper, an Ecuadorian Habano binder, and a filler blend of Dominican Criollo 98 and Dominican Corojo. The blend is intended to provide a rich, dark smoking experience with flavors of cocoa, espresso, and pepper. Factory undisclosed.

Both cigars are available in twenty-count boxes and are expanding in premium cigar retailers across the country, distributed by City of Palms Cigar Distribution.
