The Asylum April Fool’s Day cigar was first introduced in May of 2021 and has been in production ever since. Asylum 13 is well known for its crazy, large sizes and what started as a joke on an Instagram post, has become one of the brands most anticipated cigars every year. This year, the company announced the April Fools 2025 Year of the Snake to celebrate the Chinese New Year, a growing trend among brands in the industry.
Production numbers have not been announced, but the cigar is the same Honduran puro that the company has been making since its inception. It will also have an MSRP of $45.
The cigars are packaged in a six-count display box that also doubles as an ashtray, making it an easy item to sell in its original presentation. The acrylic top allows for a clear display and doubles as a shelf talker / vista should a retailer wish to display them differently.
Asylum said retailers can place orders immediately and the cigars will ship these on a first come, first served basis.
