Altadis U.S.A. has announced the release of Onyx Vintage Nicaragua, a vintage blend of extra-aged tobacco handmade at the renowned Tabacalera AJ Fernandez.
The Onyx Vintage Nicaragua boasts a 100% Nicaraguan blend, elevated by an extra-aged Habano Nicaragua wrapper sourced from an esteemed 2019 harvest. The culmination of expertise and dedication, this blend offers a harmonious interplay of flavors and aromas that is destined to captivate seasoned connoisseurs and newcomers alike.
The Onyx Vintage Nicaragua is a follow-up to the Onyx Bold Nicaragua which is also handmade at the AJ Fernandez factory and the Onyx Reserve made by the Grupo De Maestros of the Tabacalera De Garcia factory in the Dominican Republic. The Onyx Reserve was first launched by Altadis U.S.A. in 1990 and earned a 94 rating from Cigar Aficionado in April 2001 for its Dominican-born blend.
Onyx Vintage Nicaragua will be available September 25, 2023, in sleek 20-count boxes painted matte black with vintage-inspired copper branding. This cigar comes in three sizes:
